Sharda Rogell

Sharda Rogell is a member of the teacher council at Spirit Rock, a buddhist insight meditation centre in California near her home. She began meditation in 1976 and started teaching worldwide in 1985, bringing a strong emphasis to awakening heartfulness.

Sharda has also been influenced by the non-dual teachings of the Hindu Advaita Vedanta tradition as well as Dzogchen in the Tibetan tradition, and she is currently a student of AH Almaas of the Ridhwan school.

She visits New Zealand once a year to offer retreats.
